Roule Galette is the perfect place for receiving groups of students who come to Melbourne for an excursion or to celebrate the end of a term. In our new place on Rebecca walk (next to Melbourne’s Aquarium) we can fit up to 70 people.

It is a fantastic opportunity to have a good time in a typically french atmosphere.

Students are more than welcome to practice their french with the friendly staff, a majority of which are French natives. Michel will be happy to explain the origin of the Galette and to tell you about Brittany and culinary traditions. You can have a look at a french newspaper or a selection of books in French. French music will complete the picture with Edith Piaf, Brassens, and a lot of other singers and songwriters.

You will enjoy a typically french lunch from Brittany and will discover the great tradition of the Galette.

The “Galette” is an authentic savoury pancake, which comes from the French region of “Bretagne”, made from buckwheat flour and makes for a hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is served with a range of fresh fillings including ham, cheese, smoked salmon, egg, spinach, béchamel and more… It’s so tasty.

derniere et une collegue est venue une autre fois.  C'etait formidable.
Le repas et l'ambiace nous ont beaucoup plu.

Et un super grand merci de nous avoir acceuillis si chaleureusement. Ton equipe et toi savez tres bien vous entendre avec des ados et toute mon equipe l'a vraiment apprecie. On a passe une journee tres agreable et j'espere la refaire avec d'autres groupes l'anne prochaine.
